Research and review

Each guide is written for a specific coverage question. Before publication, its claims are checked against the policy form or endorsement discussed and relevant public sources, such as state insurance departments, the NAIC, FEMA, or the Insurance Information Institute. A standard form is an example, not a promise that every insurer uses the same wording.

Every published guide will show its author and last review date. A licensed reviewer will be named only when a qualified reviewer has actually reviewed that guide. No guide should imply that a reviewer or insurer approved CoverClaro as a whole.

Updates and corrections

We revisit guides when a cited form, official source, or material rule changes. Readers can report a possible error through the contact page. We investigate the source and update the article when the evidence supports a correction. The review date changes when we make a substantive update.

Independence

CoverClaro does not sell insurance or accept payment to recommend an insurer. Advertising, if enabled, does not determine editorial conclusions. See the sources page for reference organizations and the disclaimer for the limits of this information.
